This natural playscape and outdoor classroom was installed at the Kreische Historic Brewery in 2024. The Outdoor Interactive Exhibition Space provides tactile recreation for visitors of all ages. The Space consists of features that refer to the history of this site in the mid 1800’s: an observation deck, an oversized concrete map of the section Colorado River that flows past the park, with a play Ferry for crossing, an archeological dig, a small settlers home with wooden “masonry rocks” to play and stack, a deck/floor map of the state of Texas, and metal monkey bars built in the shape of a beer barrel.
